Washing Guide
New duvets or pillows will have compression wrinkles. This is a normal phenomenon. Please don't worry about it. Only need to tap and shake lightly to make the quilt and pillow fluffy. We suggest that you can let the quilt dry naturally for 3-6 hours after receiving the product, which will help the quilt to accelerate the fluffing.
1. How often do feather pillows need to be washed?
The long-term use of down pillow core will have sweat and dust deposited in it, so it is necessary to clean it regularly. The general cleaning cycle is about three months. The cycle can also be adjusted according to the actual use of down pillows.
2. Hand wash and machine wash:
Hand wash: Use mild detergent to wash, put the pillow into the detergent solution, and keep squeezing the pillow with your hands until it is clean. The excess detergent must be rinsed off, otherwise it will cause down clusters.
Machine wash: It is recommended to wash two pillows at the same time, which will help the balance of the washing machine. As with duvets, set the washing program to gentle washing so that the filling inside will not be torn.
4. How to dry?
After washing the pillow, choose to dry it in a ventilated outdoor environment without direct sunlight (do not place it in strong sunlight). You can also use a dryer to dry at low temperature. Please place it horizontally when drying to avoid filling in one direction. To pile up, hold the corners of the down pillow and shake it when drying it will also help to remove feather clusters.
Because the material of each product is different, please follow the small label of the product's care and washing instructions for details.

1. How often does the duvet need to be washed?
If your duvet has a duvet cover, you can wash the duvet cover every other month. If your duvet is not covered, we recommend that you wash it once or twice a year. (It is not recommended to clean the duvet frequently, because it may damage the filling, easily tear the duvet fabric and damage the duvet, thereby affecting the bulkiness)
2. Hand wash and machine wash:
Hand wash: Soak the duvet in cold water for 20 minutes, so that the inside and outside of the duvet are fully moisturized. Dissolve the detergent (neutral, without bleaching ingredients) into warm water at 30 degrees Celsius, soak the duvet in it for a quarter of an hour, and then gently scrub with a soft brush. The rinsing should also use warm water, which can help the detergent to be fully dissolved in the water, so that the duvet can be rinsed cleaner.
Machine wash: First choose a washing machine with a suitable capacity and add down detergent. Remember to set the washing program to gentle washing when washing the duvet, so that the filling inside will not be torn.
3. Can it be dry cleaned?
Do not dry clean like ordinary clothes, because the syrup used by dry cleaners will affect the warmth retention and also make the fabric aging. Machine-washed and spin-dried, the duvet after being twisted can easily lead to uneven thickness of the filling, which will make it out of shape and affect the beauty and warmth retention. But you can find professional duvet dry cleaners.
4. How to dry?
After cleaning the duvet, choose to dry it in a ventilated outdoor environment without direct sunlight (do not expose it to strong sunlight). You can also use a dryer to dry at low temperature, then shake it lightly to make the down fluffy. This will help the down to restore its fluffy and soft texture without damaging the quilt. Please make sure that the duvet is completely dried, and that the duvet that is not completely dried is at risk of mold and peculiar smell.

*Wet down will have a serious odor, which is normal and not a product quality problem. So you have to make sure to let the pillow or quilt fully dry after washing, and the best way to do this is to dry it in the dryer.
